Belgic Confession of Faith

“We all believe in our hearts and confess with our mouths that there is a single and simple spiritual being, whom we call God … We believe that we have no access to God except through the one and only Mediator and Intercessor: Jesus Christ the Righteous … For neither in heaven nor among the creatures on earth is there anyone who loves us more than Jesus Christ does” (Belgic Confession Articles 1 and 26).
